- Evidence of a current CRB Check

About the Course
The A1 Assessors Award is a nationally recognised assessment qualification. The qualification is a prerequisite for anyone wishing to work in an educational setting.
The A1 Assessors Award in Health and Social Care has replaced the D32 Award. The course will enable students to assess candidates using a variety of different assessment methods. These include dealing with diverse evidence such as witness testimony, knowledge questions and work products. Students will learn to use the systems that are required to record observations and assess the evidence to ensure Diploma (NVQ) candidates are competent in the units required for their award.
Course Structure:
The course is comprised of 1 Unit with 4 Elements including:
- Planning assessments and giving feedback
- Responsibilities of an assessor
- Assessment
- Portfolio production and direct observation of your practice
Progression:
At the end of the course learners could take up employment as Diploma (NVQ) Assessors.
