Training
Duration: 12 months
A1 Assessors Award – Level 3
Entry requirements:
- A minimum of one year experience as an Assessor
- Diploma (NVQ) Level 3 Qualification
- Assessor Units D32 and D33
- Trainer – Assessor Award, A1-Unit
Applicants will also have met one of the following conditions;
- Have an English language qualification – or very good English speaking and writing ability
- Hold a relevant qualification recognised in the UK or overseas.
- Hold a senior position in their current work place

This award covers the internal quality assurance system for assessment decisions.
Course Structure:
The unit involves monitoring the assessor’s decisions and providing the support that they need such as sampling process and standardisation arrangements.
Progression Route
Successful completion of this course will enable you to apply to Awarding Bodies to become an External Verifier.
